1975 - Data Media is incorporated in Paris, France as a manufacturer of 14" media.
1986 - Digital Storage, Inc. is founded in Columbus, Ohio, as a distributor of data storage solutions.
November 1987 - Dataworx B.V. is founded in Bodegraven
1988 - Data Media turns into a specialized wholesaler of storage media. The three above organizations
cooperate together with "One Company attitude" to provide worldwide distribution for storage market.
1995 - Data Media merges with Dataworx in the Netherlands.
1998 - Data Media expands into Germany by creating its subsidiary Dexxon GmbH and adopts the name "Dexxon"
to represent the group.
2001 - To insure the future growth, Dexxon Group invest and implement SAP R/3 for all countries and activities.
2002 - Take over of the Noblet Group, to achieve a larger product range, comprising print solutions, exclusive
distribution of Casio Calculators, and added value After-sales department
June 2003 - Acquisition of Digital Storage, Inc.
July 2004 - Dexxon acquires the Swedish company named MTC Storage & Supplies AB, to create Dexxon Nordic.
December 2005 - Dexxon is the first French company to migrate to the latest version of SAP : ECC6
May 2006 - Acquisition of EMTEC, a worldwide, powerful retail brand represented by the famous red logo created
by BASF more than 40 years ago. Dexxon adds operations in Austria, Italy, Poland and Spain and a number of
branches in Eastern Europe.
September 2006 - Launch of Gdium project Research & Development.
